Why This Stack?

At AI Workflows, we build the majority of our client projects on Next.js and Supabase. This combination delivers:

Authentication Patterns

Supabase Auth integrates seamlessly with Next.js middleware:

2. Generate TypeScript types with supabase gen types
3. Use database functions for complex business logic
4. Index foreign keys and frequently queried columns
5. Use Supabase Edge Functions for webhook handlers

Deployment

We deploy Next.js apps to Vercel and self-host Supabase on dedicated infrastructure for clients requiring data sovereignty.
